It’s never been more important to have the best and the brightest minds engaged in mission-driven work.
The Compass Fellowship was created for early to mid-career product + engineering talent who offer a perspective that has been historically under-represented in tech. With everything from voting rights to health care at stake this year, this is your moment to step up.
The Compass Fellowship provides free training and mentorship, and access to full-time, salaried job opportunities to guide you through the transition and help you ultimately land a fulfilling new job between April - June 2020. While the Compass Fellowship applications are currently closed, you may submit your resume to our tech talent matchmaking service, All Hands, to help find a job in politics.
The current cohort of fellows have committed to being available for an online convening the weekend of April 4-5, 2020, as well as weekly training and mentorship sessions held remotely.

How it Works
Train
We provide 12 weeks of free training courses for fellows on the demands of tech roles in the progressive movement, what mission-driven work entails, and how your skills can translate to winning campaigns.
Hire
We are partnering with dozens of organizations that are pushing for progressive change. We’ll help you find a full-time job that matches your skills and interests, prep you for interviews, and see you through your first day and beyond.
Retain
We provide ongoing free support for 12 weeks through mentors who have already made the transition from tech to politics. Fellows will have access to our community manager and each other after completion of their training to help navigate their new role.
